This may be one of my last posts, I haven’t decided yet the best way to take rdc forward. As i’m using Flickr more and more i’m finding that a picture tells a story much better than a blog, plus you get to be part of a massive community rather than floating around the edges. Plus finding time (or rather making time) to write is becoming more of a drag.
Anyway, we went to Newquay for Paul’s Stag Do
And we went to Coed-y-Brenin to ride the Red Bull Course.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know it’s been a while, but it’s built up the expectation, right? Hmm, okay so maybe not. Since the last time I wrote, i’ve been doing all kinds of stuff (for want of a better word). So here’s the rundown of two and a half weeks in the life of me…
My last post was some random crap about an ice bar in london, so lets ignor that one and go back to the one before. 1 week before Lee and Lindsay’s wedding, and I was raving on about how old I felt. So the couples happy day came, Lee fluffed his lines, and Lloydy got VERY drunk. All in all a good day was had by all. The best bit being the hour rant that someone had in the loo, i’ll post the video soon if he (or she, don’t want to incriminate anyone…. although that would’ve meant I was filming in the girls bogs), will let me.
Generally work… Actually, I’m not even going to bother with that one.
The bank hoilday called for some biking in the Wyre Valley with the lads. What can I say, as usual a top day out, and got me some more footage for the “rant cam”.
I (and several others from church) took a visit to a mosque in Pleck for one of their open days. It’s a really good idea, they open up the whole thing, show you round, feed you (yes, a BIG factor in deciding to go) and give you this talk on Islam. I’m impressed with anything that helps build bridges between communities, so a big thanks to those guys for making us feel so welcome.
Another biking session brought me this very nice wound and a couple of bruised ribs (hence the “ouch”).
Which I guess brings me up to this week, that has so far conceited of work, a joint cell with the guys from Eurostreams (an absolutely awesome night), the tuesday night pub quiz, and a bit of a bulti (init mate) with Steve, Paul, Ben and the rest of the guys from WCC.
All that, plus the usual pub nights, cinema, the quiz and the odd jamming session here and there have made for a pretty sweet, 2 (or so) weeks. Interesting, eh? No… I didn’t think so.

Finally Lloydy has posted the photos of Lee’s Stag night shnangans. It all stared off fairly tame, a few drinks in Bridgenorth (with the notable absence of the stag) then back to Walsall to get Lee.
A ‘few’ drinks in the Wharf led to a few more in Yates’s, and then home. However, on the way home passing McDonalds we stopped so that I could take a leak, or so it would seem. We took this opportunity to strip Lee, cover him in silly string and baby-oil and hand-cuff him to a lamp-post. We then drove away to the other car park, turned the lights off and left him for a while. We were gunna go back for him, honest guv.
By the time we did go back for him he’d gone. Escaped. Vamoosed. And then we had the biggest storm that i’ve seen for years. So after spending an hour or so looking for him Lloydy called the police and asked “if they had picked up any naked white men on the run in Bescot?” They said not, but they’d send a car out to help us look. They weren’t happy.
After hour went by, still no Lee. Kris and Fordy were soaked, and we figured it was time to go tell Lee’s future misses that we’d lost him. As it turned out Lee was already home, he’d got a taxi with the £10 that he’d kept in his sock for just such an emergency (?!). What amazed me most was the distance he’d run, naked, through the streets of Walsall to get to the taxi rank. He said a woman stopped and asked him if he was okay, but he just said he was on his stag-do and she seemed fine with that.
So not you’re run off the mill night in Walsall (although the police operator seemed to think there were other naked men running around out there somewhere), but a night I’m sure Lee will never forget. One to tell the kids eh?

It’s been a while since my last post so I better make this a good-un (well, relatively speaking). It being the season of University mates birthday’s (including mine - which is today by the way, just in case you wanted to send me that spare Ferrari you don’t use any more), I headed up to Huddersfield.
The night started out in traditional style with pizza-pie and vodka then continued the trend with a trip to Session, Vox, Sharkeys and then I’m sure there was more, but I know we did end up in the new noodle bar, which was nice, despite me voting for lazeez again. It was awesome to see the lads again, and kinda made me pine for the good old days of finishing work at 4.30 in the afternoon and getting home at 3 in the morning having stopped off for a ‘quick pint’ in Vox. But I guess you get older and move on… back to Brownhills…. damn The rest of the weekend consisted of sitting around at Riks watching movies and eating yet more junk foot. What could be better?
Oh, and in case you were wondering, the Time Fade Titles are installed but not working like I intended them to. Must change it so that the old posts fade quicker.

Check me out on the front of the new Rotosport Brochure that Trinity did for Feridax. On the left is the front cover of the brochure, and the right is the original photo taken in our car park. Amazing what you can do with Photoshop. Check out the Rotosport website
