rdc* wordpress theme

me and paul have noticed more and more modifications of the rdc classic & langshott themes, and thought it would be nice to get a collection of links to other blogs that use a slightly different flavour of either of the rdc themes.

If you’ve taken the time to create a mod of one of our themes please take the time to post a link as a comment here… yeah, just here… no, left a bit… there you go.

A short description of what you’ve done would be nice too!

All I can say is whoops. As some of you may have noticed, the theme files haven’t been available for the past few days, this is due to me swapping my hosts to the brilliant textdrive.

Anyway, the theme files are back online, and available for you to download and mod/use/abuse…

In little under weeks time, I will be travelling up to the lovely North-East and running the Great North Run. Starting in Newcastle and finishing by the coast at South Shields, the totally distance is 13.1 miles (a half marathon).

As in 2003, I have again decided to raise money for my chosen charity - The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK. This fund was set up in memory of Bobby Moore, captain of the 1966 World Cup winning team, often regarded as the gentleman of football, and who died of bowel cancer in 1993. Since then, the fund has raised over £4 million for bowel cancer research.

That Lloydy has been busy updating the rdc langshott theme, but this time he’s bundled it with support for the new version of the time fade titles plug in. This means that you can install the timefade plugin and have it work seamlessly with version 0.7!

And if that wasn’t enough, he’s also spent time changing the colour scheme to show the rest of us just how easy it is to change the colours with the new css architecture, is there nothing this man can’t do? ( download 0.7 now ).

A big thanks to Ian who has ported the rdc theme (0.5) to e107, you can download it in zip format together with a number of other wordpress theme ports from ian’s site.

Also a BIG thank you to all those people (you know who you are) who have taken my original theme and modded it, colourised it and generally played with it. It’s really satisfying to see! And to answer another faq, yes, by all means port / mod the theme, just link back here when you do. (a link to Paul’s website would also be most appreciated, as he’s the one who designed and built langshott, I just stuck a few wp tags into it. I’ve said it before, and i’ll say it again - he’s a design genius.)
