I just loved your theme from the start. But I am a beginner and rather feeling stupid. Where do I change your text? (My blog shall be German…)

Calitoe: You’re changes look really good!

Heike: All the files for the rdc theme should be in

YourSiteRoot/WordPressFolder/wp-content/themes/rdc/

Then just modify the source files.

I like sleekmetal - the next logical and evolutional step from the rdc theme* as I see it - perhaps some of those inteface tweaks can be included in 0.5?

Hey I’ve been using your theme. Its just amazing. I was wondering if its possible to align everything to the left/right and if so any advice :D

Gravatar

Your Theme is very nice to look at. First I loved the goofy-theme. But it is too heavy with the colors.
I also prefer a light design with only a right sidebar, not two. The centered ‘Sheet of paper’-impression it gives is cool.

How can I add a table (real a background image) to the right of the sidebars in the grey space?

We know a good thing when we see it … even when we feel compelled to tweak it to our taste. I only changed the color because I adore blue.

Oh, thank you for the kind note on my site: I wanted to return the kindness.

I have also switched to your template design. I like it very much. Any plans to support links to the sidebar ?

I have also switched to your theme and made quite a few tweaks. The theme is great, and very easy to modify, much more intuative than Kubrick. However, it doesn’t validate very well at all. Any possibility of fixing this in future releases?

Gravatar

Yes, in-fact a new release is just around the corner. Watch this space folks…

Hi Jon!

May I have the permission to port this theme to e107? You can find more information about e107 at http://e107.org.

Please email me if you agree.

Regards,

Ian

Your theme made WordPress skinning an adventure! Looking forward to future developments, including a syndication icon :) I’ve noticed one other little niggle, it’s not playing nice with the wp-admin-bar plugin (ie invisible).

Hope you like what I’ve done to it :)

I messed around some, and made a modification. I found the original lacking in features.

Am rather new at code cracking html. In the meantime, I have rdc loaded, but when I switch my theme to it and pull up the page, I can’t find how to get to the admin area from there. Am I blind?

Gravatar

Kat. The rdc* theme doesn’t include a link to the wordpress admin kit as standard, you can always go there manually via the address bar…

if you need any more help, or really do need to add in the link to the admin kit, let me know.

I love the look of your theme. I know it’s for a blog, but is there any way you can adapt it for my website? (Maybe this question reveals how little tech I know, but i thought I’d ask.) Of course I’d be willing to pay. Here’s my site:

Here’s another proud user of your elegant theme at improvememorytips.com/blog (I have not hyperlinked that;)

Being new to WP and PHP (although I understand HTML and CSS fluently) I am unable to “hyperlink” my Blog’s title to the header_bg.gif which I simply overwrote with my own header graphic.

I had to temporarily remove the “title” of my Blog and “description” in the options so it would not overprint the header graphic.

I have tried for 2 days and cannot locate where I hpyerlink my own “header” graphic to the Blog’s title so it firstly appears in the top of the Browser Bar (all I am getting is “Netscape”) and secondly that the all important source code shows the Blog title and Post description (for search engine rankings). Also how do I insert the correct “feed” RSS2 declaration and correct URL in the footer bar (all that shows up incorrectly is “feed:http://myblog/feed”) and I have no idea where to manually alter the code (OH! to see some familiar HTML coding)

It would be so nice if some clever theme developer also writes the full instructions as to easily convert header graphics and also insert Company logos in to the header, without losing the identity of the Blog.
(for example a clear direction as to which pages of the theme, and exactly where, and which lines of PHP/HTML code to insert in this location to do such alterations)

Many thanks for your time to review this.
Roseanne

Thank you for the “elegancy” of RDC0.5 (I don’t think I would like to move over to Langshott, but would still love some simple instruction as to how to include the new “navigation” or “page” tabs at the top of the Langshott theme
